Te Kura Kohine Maori o Turakina. Where strangers become friends and friends become sisters. Watching this video brought so many fond memories back. Its funny listening to Whaea Milly talk about when she first arrived & it looked like a prison, because thats exactly how I felt - it definitely was no Hogwarts. but to my surprise, it was the best 4years of my life. It has made me who I am today & its the memories, values, lessons I learnt & life long friendships that I made that make me so proud to be a Turakina Old Girl. I hope that in another 10 years, my daughter will also experience and embrace all that Turakina has to offer.
