Teacher Appreciation Post: Today is neck day! And Im excited because Doc Sam is teaching. Just from her first lecture last monday, it was obvious that its such a privilege to study under her. I mean, what kind of teacher would discuss the entire skull, and then personally go around the lecture hall to point out and confirm the different structures/fossa/foramen/canals in each of the skulls of the almost 20 anatomy groups she was lecturing to?! Galing talaga! Napabilib ako kay Doc - ang tiyaga niya sa amin! :) Not only is she an outstanding clinician, shes also a very dedicated teacher :) Whether in the lecture hall or in the anatomy lab, its obvious that she only has the sincerest intentions of making sure you learn. And its when you come across teachers the likes of her that you get extra motivated to study too! Not so much for the grades, but really more for the desire to make her proud. Its like you dont want to disappoint her because she pours out so much of her time and energy just for you to learn - something she couldve chosen not to do at all in the first place! Heres to the next 4 hours with Doc! :) #TooMuchExcitement
