Teacher Position The Epiphany Extended Day and School Readiness Preschool Program seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to team-teach 3-12 year olds in a licensed Catholic preschool program and well-established school age extended day program. Primary duties include but are not limited to: • Develop theme-based curriculum to plan and implement instructional lessons based upon Catholic teachings. • Facilitate learning through hands-on activities that encourage children to explore new choices and discover new skills. • Conduct individual assessments and respond accordingly. • Employ best practices to help each child reach his/her potential. • Provide children a foundation for future education and an enthusiastic desire to learn. Hours: 40 hours per week; 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on school days, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on summer and release days Requirements: • BA/BS in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Psychology or related field • Minimum of three years post-college experience • Knowledge of DHS Rule 3 • Excellent classroom management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team setting • CPR and First Aid certification required within first 30 days of employment Additional Info: Full benefits-eligible position.
