Teacher of the Year Award Winner, Ms. Smith, of South Brunswick Middle School, represented well tonight at our Board of Ed Meeting...she spoke eloquently and represented her fellow teachers WELL! It is because of teachers like her that we continue to advocate for our Brunswick County Public Educational System...teachers had a voice tonight and I was proud to have witnessed her motivational plea to our BOE Members to include teachers, staff, parents, students in an OPEN dialogue on getting our county back on track...so the BALL is in their court...stay tuned for more details to come..but proud to be a parent of 2 Brunswick County Students tonight...teacher spirit and bravery is still alive...hope is NOT LOST! Great teachers are still here, we just need to fight to keep them here in our county!
