Teachers and parents! 30 days only until municipal elections. Since school has been back, postings have slowed but slashing and burning of our public education system continues. These stories must be made public via letters to the editor in local papers, this page and twitter. Our next step is to enrage the citizens of BC at how our childrens education is still being threatened. Many people arent aware of this. We must convince voters to vote for trustees who are courageous, not worn out, willing to be outspoken, to ask questions and, most importantly, to expect answers. If we dont do this, we will wake up the next morning like we did last spring, shocked and dismayed. Teachers may be overwhelmed and tired. The rest of us can help once again. Please share your stories here with the knowledge that they will be shared carefully and widely. I pledge to make your stories known and I know there will be others who will join me in doing it too.
