Teaching profession is highly rewarding.As our students grow older they remember their teachers with gratitude and express their love and regards towards them better than their college days which makes a retired teachers life colourful. i joined maharajas college in 1986 and spent most of the years of my profession in this campus.I am so happy that the representatives of the former students from 1986 to 2013 joined me in the programme. I have always felt that art and campus peace is a very important concept. Teaching learning process is the most important activity in the campus and and conducive peaceful environment can be created by promoting art along with academic activities. A few words about the former students who participated in the programme. I.K Jayadev (HOD of Islamic History and Syndicate member CUSAT) Vinayachandran (a great singer of romantic songs with a very lovable personality) Mini Venugopal(a very sweet person and glamorous wife of the well known lyricist Venugopal) Mridula(a highly talented singer and a very soft person) and Nidhin (the baby of the group and an adipoly singer. We sang the song Muthuchippi poloru together during the college day celebrations 2012-13. I thank the media for their support and all dear former students and colleagues for their support.
