Team Chelsea captures Cup Cake Wars title ‘ So proud of my niece Ashley Thompson and her teammates Chelsea Duty (team leader) Britney Bodden and Sydni Ebanks that captured the Cup Wars title today (Saturday, 31 May) at the Ritz Carlton. There were two other teams that competed Team -Tya Bovell and Team Rene but it was Team Chelsea’s taste that won the day - Lemon cupcakes with a raspberry filling and a chocolate mint cupcake. Kudos to James Myles who runs the program, Director of Youth Katherine Whittaker, the judges George Ann Rankine, Chef Ben Kallenbach and Leslie Anderson, the eight other participants, their respective parents and of course the Ritz for hosting Cup Cake Wars. The Program runs 14 weeks – on Saturday’s at the Ritz Carlton. Many thanks for assisting these budding chefs. Great event for the youngsters of the Cayman Islands: One of the judges Leslie Anderson a former graduate of the program is now attending university at Johnson and Wales (North Caroline) for culinary arts.
