Team Coastrunners first sled dog race this winter in Robur is ower. We have aimed our training for mid distance races, but this race was for fun. Sprint race 8 dog team. Too warm weather and soft trail , made that saturday wasnt fun at all. Dogs made the best they could, it was me that made the wrong decisions cause of the warmness. This is called learn by mistakes. Sunday trail was better and our time improved. Place in total race for us 7 th and in pure breed Siberians second. It was first race for me when I raced with dogs that was all my own breeding. All Coastrunners dogs got highest award in sled dog trial , called REK 1. That was the best part . Thankss to all competitors and race organisation. It was fun to see you all !
