I am hearing many lenders will not fund loans as they cannot receive the IRS results back in order to fund the loan. It is very important if you have any homes in escrow without Wells Fargo that you ask the lender if the government shutdown will affect closing. My thoughts are the shutdown should end by the 17th as that is when are debt would be downgraded, but you never know. As always please let me know if I can assist you or your clients with financing.
