Team Layla consists of a very proud grandmother, me, walking in hopes of a time when my soon to arrive granddaughter, Layla, will not have to worry about breast cancer in her lifetime. A time when pink will just be a color in her crayon box and the pink ribbon will be something she wears in her hair. I will also be walking 40 miles to honor several amazing women I know, all fighting the same battle, all strong and all full of hope. The 2015 Avon 40 mile walk will be the weekend of May 2 -3. This will be my 12th multiple day breast cancer walk and I am asking for your continued support to help me make my goal of $1800. This is vital to help assist in funding mammograms for those less fortunate, continue breast cancer research and support for local families.
