Team Scheduler - Tidewell - Lakewood Ranch, FL Job Title: Team Scheduler FT/PT/Per Diem: Full Time Location: Lakewood Ranch, FL Scheduled Days Mon - Fri Scheduled Hours 8am - 5pm Job Description: Statement of Purpose: The Scheduler coordinates the daily scheduling of staff and agency personnel for the Clinical Services Department. Primary tasks, duties, and responsibilities: 1.Monitor the Staff caseload. 2.Assist in orientation of new staff. 3.Ensure notification to teams of covered/uncovered needs. 4.Provide on-call scheduling coverage as needed on rotating basis. 5.Participate in holiday coverage on rotating basis with other scheduler/designee. 6.Schedules staff and outside agencies, as needed. 7.Prepare and maintain staff schedule for PRN colleagues. 8.Maintain accurate data on request received, shifts filled, and agency utilization. 9.Prepare monthly reports. 10.Reports to the Administrative Director of Clinical Services /Clinical Director, any difficulties in scheduling staff. 11.Assists in processing of applicants, ie. Scheduling interviews, prepare documentation for hiring, and scheduling of orientation. 12.Monitor and maintain compliance for employee performance reviews due documents for colleagues. 13.Process timesheets and PDO requests for signing by Administrative Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Director. 14.Assists in preparation of monthly and quarterly reports. 15.Maintain current roster of staff. 16.Develops and implements processes and procedures to benefit the PRN/Clinical Services departments. 17.Participates and assists in staff development. 18.Attends Tidewell schedule meetings and participate on committees. 19.Attends Tidewell educational offerings when scheduling permits. Physical Requirements: 1.Visual and auditory acuity. 2.While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Educational/Professional: 1.One year certificate from College or Technical School, or one to three years related experience. And / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2.Prior Staff scheduling and clinical experience preferred. 3.Skilled in computer operations. 4.Knowledge of software, ie. Microsoft Office, Excel, etc. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1.Good organization skills. 2.Detail oriented with ability to multitask. 3.Ability to handle difficult situations while maintaining professional conduct. 4.Capable of meeting challenges and deadlines effectively. 5.Ability to maintain complete confidentiality. 6.Abiliy to be a self-starter with little need of direction. 7.Able to perform sedentary work with frequent interruptions. 8.Excellent interpersonal skills.
