Technical Support-Help Desk at a Leading Market Research Firm Requirements: -Gender : Male – Must -Age from 1990 to 1994 - Preferred -Graduated : Computer Science or Information Systems Preferred Electrical and Telecom Engineering not recommended -Courses : one of the following preferred MCIT MCSE MCSA CCNA N+ -Work Experiences : Help desk – technical support – system admin RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide technical assistance for all internal queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. • Respond to all queries from internal support system as first line support either by person, by mail or over the phone. • Log all support actions to the support system. • Walk customer through problem-solving process. • Write training manuals and how to for common IT support tasks. • Train users for new services and software. • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. • Clean up computers. • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems. • Install computer peripherals and printers for users. • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved. • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage. • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
