Technician - Field Service III: Details: Job Responsibilities: -May be required to spend a great deal of time on his/her feet, climbing, stooping, turning, lifting up to 50 lb. and/or occasional work in inclement weather -Must be able to travel with approximately 15% being overnight -Requires the individual to be on call 24/7 -Positions in this family install, place in operation, maintain, inspect, test, trouble-shoot and repair equipment at customer sites to ensure the safe, effective and efficient delivery of our products to the customers point of use -Serves as a key point of contact and coordination between the company and the customer to meet all requirements safely, efficiently and economically -Technician performing in the above capacities specifically for Air Liquide Americas applicable equipment including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium and carbon dioxide liquid and gas storage systems; customer distribution/regulation systems; applications equipment; telemonitoring equipment; instrumentation; and FLOXAL systems including air compressors and various small on-site nitrogen generation systems -Reports to the local Field Service Coordinator -The field service technician (FST) in coordination with outside service providers, customer service engineering, sales and distribution on installations and removals -All work must be performed in conformance with established safety procedures while ensuring customer satisfaction with the appearance and operation of every installation -Note: typically the acquiring stage represents the first 12 - 18 months apprentice role; after which an individual either progresses to the mastering stage or terminates employment -Project integration and leadership skills... -Assumes responsibility for a project, process, clients and/or customers -Takes initiative in problem solving and produces significant results -Operates safely and effectively in an ever changing environment -Promotes team-work to achieve project goals -Obtains information/ resources and performs independently dlvr.it/7JtfKX
