Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Guest review by Sparkle Dawson) TMNT is overall a good movie. There are a few issues but in general this movie kept my interest. The story...Dont worry, no spoilers ahead. The story has bright moments but the twist in the story isnt very interesting. The April ONeal character is what should be expected, understanding it is played by Megan Fox...Im not a fan. Overall I found myself happy that they put forth a fair effort to make a decent film. Characters.... They didnt disappoint me. I still have a issue with how the turtles look. They are just downright hideous. Well done is the personality of each Turtle. The original characters are the same as I remember. Michaelangelo is still the silly one, Ralphael is still angry or attitudinal, Leonardo is the leader and Donatello is still the nerd.Actually they did a better job at their personalities and I loved that. Splinter....I had issues with the Chinese rat look...that didnt work. And Shredders metal was a little too much...they tried but...no. The action was great! There were a few fight scenes where I was on the edge of my seat and others where I felt my participation was needed and I got a little verbal...dont judge me. Overall the movie had its ups and downs but I would take my family to see it again. Its funny, action packed and I would say a good movie. I give it a solid B...I didnt want to see it at first but Im glad I did.
