Teenager steals car, teenager rams cop / cop car injuring cop, cops open fire on the driver of the car, she is killed. Her friends, family, and community leaders are marching today to protest police brutality and that the officer be brought to justice. This is ridiculous. It shouldnt even be a news story other than car thief shot and killed. There wasnt any police brutality here. The only thing this story lacks is claiming the cop fired because hes racist. News organizations in this country are appalling. The headline -teenage girl in stolen car shot and killed by police. Lets leave a little more ambiguity in there? How about teenage driver of stolen car, or teenage car thief, we sit here and wonder what the hell is wrong with our country and we keep listening to news organizations who prey on our want of drama, spot light, money, fear, and greed. If we want to fix our country dont start with politicians, theyre powerless. Start with the news organizations and the people they empower. An idea is much stronger than any action. I feel sorry for our nations police forces, your job is going to become harder and much more dangerous as stuff like this continues. It is tragic. End rant.
