Teenkahon had a fabulous screening last night at the Roxy Cinema at Renton as part of the 9th Seattle South Asian Film Festival. It had one of the largest turnouts of this years festival though inspite of the organisers trying hard the Bengali community of Seattle was conspicuous in its absence barring a few. But those who turned up made our day. The ovation at the end was humbling, the Q&A exhilerating and the praises heaped on Teenkahon was unexpected. On behalf of Teenkahon a big thank you to the efforts of Rita Meher, Alka Kurian, Joydeep Das ,Rumela Ganguly, Shoba Sriaiyer, Shikha Jain, Madhuri Kudaravalli, Kiran Dhillon, Anita Shekar Akerkar, Monish Gangwani, Bharati Ravi. Moinak Bandyopadhyay. You guys have been outstanding. May SSAFF rise to bigger heights in the years to come. All the best.
