Television crews wrapped up shooting at Bryn Mawr College recently with a spectacular burning of the football player effigy built on Merion Green. Crews were making a pilot for ABC called How to Get Away, starring Viola Davis. Bryn Mawr was filling in as a fictitious Philadelphia Ivy League School.” The show produced by the highly regarded Shonda Rhimes, the creator, head writer, and executive producer of the medical drama television series Greys Anatomy and Private Practice, is set in Philadelphia, and revolves around Davis who plays a brilliant professor and criminal lawyer, and her students.
