Tell Aregbe of Majority....... In a sane democratic society, a party that secures majority votes in an election forms a legitimate government. (though not applicable to Nigerian Governors Forum election where 16 votes is greater than 19 votes and a candidate who secured 16 votes was declared winner. From this sense, ours is an insane democratic society ). But yesterdays election goes beyond Fed Govt might ! Every fact emerged indicates Ogbeni Aregbesola has swept home to victory with reasonable landslide margin, therefore, I democratically gesture the opposition to keep quiet and head to court if there is any heartfelt grievance for the sake of democratic sanity, and at the same time I seize this golden opportunity to felicitate with Ogbeni Rauf on his landslide victory. Having congratulated him, it must be categorically stated that his victory is not a fanfare of merriment but a fancy dress of hard work, commitment, honesty to the fulfilment of various promises he might have made to electorate during electioneering campaign. Why are you saying this? Thank you strange voice ! I am saying this because of evil associated to second term in office. Look, my facts are not far-fetched. Gov. Mimiko of Ondo state performed creditably well in his first tenure. Who could have thought despite his landslide victory, he would put on evil spirit of negligence to his peoples cry? Yes, he does ! Ondo state earns #24.8 billion per month as at 2013 from FG account, yet no reasonable project has been executed for over a year of his inauguration in office for the second round of four years. The question is, where is this money going to every month? Or Mr. Mimiko is being punished for supporting Jona Jang of 16 votes against Ameachi of 19 votes like Obasanjo did to Asiwaju Tinubu of Lagos then when the former withheld the Lagos state fund for creating additional Local Council Development Areas ? Ondo state suffers under Mimiko second term. Pls, tell Aregbe of majority not emulate evil spirit of negligence of some quarters but imbibe the orientation value of continuity of Fashola of Lagos. By so doing, the State of Osun will experience developmental strides. More blessings to you all.
