Temperatures look to be above normal today with highs in the upper 80s. It will also be a breezy day with SSE winds at 10-15 mph and gusting close to 25 mph at times. There is a slight chance of pop-up showers this afternoon, but the greater chance is for Southeast Iowa late this evening. No severe weather is expected, but rain totals could be close to a quarter of an inch in some spots. A low of 71 degrees is forecast tonight. It will continue to get warmer before it gets cooler.
