Temple Toad: Oddly there are no Americans shopping at Saigon City - TopicsExpress

Temple Toad: Oddly there are no Americans shopping at Saigon City Marketplace, in Westminster, California. Well, not so odd really, they make it very clear that they hate us. What we call rude they call a right of passage. Creepy to be in an environment where people are so low and proud of it. Everyone wants to punch out the nun in the doorway, I cant figure out why. I guess its just because she is there. Or maybe because she is so irritatingly manipulative and conniving. Usually you get points in Vietnam for being like that, but for some unknown reason she is just annoying to customers. The guard fell in love with her; they trade tid-bits of food all day, and he tells me to shut up; he gets the other employees to yell at me as well. The temple toad is working the tid-bit game on the new cart herder as well. She likes to play the part of cutsie little serving girl. She is so blatantly mean to me that I am embarrassed for her. As in, she counts her wads of cash in front of me all day long, it made one of the regular customers so mad that she went to the bank and came back with a wad of cash for me, she was very dissappointed that the nun had left by then and wasnt here to see.
