Temporary comment: Oakwood Worldwide, its been another - TopicsExpress

Temporary comment: Oakwood Worldwide, its been another all-night-awake experience in this $300+ per night cesspool of second-hand marijuana smoke from the unit above that you broke state and local codes to rent to (the occupancy limit in a one-bedroom is (3) three persons, not (6) six). You agreed years ago to a medical partnership. I am a patient now in that program which you KNOW is the only option offered to the in-patients with my specific mobility and cognitive limitations at the Los Angeles facility of Centre for Neuro Skills. Many of us under 24/7 medical care in recovery from stroke, aneurysm or other traumatic brain injury, and this is the designated property where we sleep after a full day of rehabilitation sessions. Because of the specific contract arrangement with CNS (its detailed and involves a nursing staff), patients like me cannot just move to another property. Weve been subjected to your intentional and ongoing choice to allow issues to remain at crisis level as part of an otherwise perfect program that I can confidently say has saved my life. Though the nursing staff, I and the centre have reported these issues more than 40 times, your response has been to threaten legal action against for voicing concerns. Thankfully, having nurse staff on rotation has made it possible to document each of the issues and the reports of the issues. A consistently overflowing toilet thats not been resolved during these months is not acceptable especially when patients (like us) need to use the restroom more often because of TBI. The nurses have taken me to Equinox Southern California locations to use the restroom. They, too, consider themselves a premium brand, however, they understand the how to treat clients. Perhaps your teams should learn from Equinox. Youve been aware of the ongoing flooding from actions in the unit above, and the nurse staff and I have continued to report its extreme and constant noise. There is a long list of other unresolved issues weve documented that you and even your Headquarters staff have been repeatedly made aware of. Youre too powerful for the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety to care about, but your future clients should not be subjected to the behaviors of your award winning customer service staff. One of your managers over this region has repeatedly and knowingly lied in his insistence that the unit above is not one of the units controlled by Oakwood. He also stated that this is property is a lower budget property (though its at the $300+ per night level... I am here as part of the program from @neuroskills, one of two places in the world that has a proven track record of healing the effects of stroke, aneurysm and other TBI. It is the reason I have been making such progress in walking and talking, they have me here during the time that I remain unable to be independent during recovery. Youve been given more than 40 opportunities to change, but youve continued to take advantage of patients like us during our temporarily vulnerable time period. There are many other patients that you have knowingly treated in this way. I do not believe that Howard Ruby intended his management teams to have this level of disservice, and Ric Villarreals press seems to indicate that he expects clients to be treated in a different way. NDTA Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA), ASAP, The Forum for Expatriate Management EMMA Awards and many others would be proud to be associated with the prior - GOOD - Oakwood that treated me so well when I was just getting started in Hollywood at the Toluca Hills (Toluca Lake, Burbank) property, but now that I am temporarily having to have managed care away from my home, much has changed. Should your investors be concerned?
