Ten Things Im Thankful for: Thanksgiving 2014 _________________________________________ 1. Im thankful for sunny days and the way the lake looks when the sun is sparkling on top of the water. It looks like someone threw a bazillion diamonds across it. Its so amazing that its kind of like getting to see Santa Claus every time it happens. And it happens a lot! 2. Im thankful for the love and kindness of people I havent even met in person. And for 150 days of pink bendy straws. :) 3. Im thankful that Snuffy and Gator are healthy, sassy little old man kitties. They bring a whole lot of joy into my world. Long live the tummy rubs!! 4. Im thankful for friends, old and new. You dont even know how much easier youve made these past few months for me by keeping the laughter and smiles coming every day. And for being patient with me when I wasnt able to be the kind of friend I like to be to the people I care about. 5. Im thankful for my boy. Every day. Im so proud of Eric and I think its about the coolest thing ever that hes becoming such a good cook! 6. Im thankful for health challenges. I know that sounds insane but every time things go wrong, I work harder to make them right and I learn so many things about myself and what I am capable of and then I get to learn new ways to help others who are facing the same kind of challenges that I have. 7. Im thankful for Travis. Every day is always full of laughter and fun and love. Im so glad to be married to someone who is willing and able to work together with me to have that. I get to fall in love with him a little more each day and some days my feet hardly touch the ground Im so happy. And then there are days where I have a moment or two where I consider serving him fish sticks for his dinner. lol But thats balance. You dont ever fully appreciate the good without just the right amount of bratty badness. ;) 8. Im thankful for movies, books, and television and the people who work so hard to create them for us to enjoy. 9. Im thankful for the people who dedicate their lives to helping others and to making the world a better place. 10. Im thankful to be alive and am very excited about a few things that are going on in our lives and Im really looking forward to 2015 and all that it brings with it. :)
