Term Limits Obama could not have done half the things he has done without help. That help has come from the republicans, as well as Democrats who have put their own agendas and self-interests ahead of the country. Obama ran on the promise of fundamentally changing America. Americans need to fundamentally change the government in Washington DC. There is a culture and an attitude of entitlement among the leaders of this country. An elitist, ruling class mentality, that extends beyond congress and into the courts and bureaucracies. Even government workers have forgotten that they work for the American people, and look down their noses at them, as if the people are there to serve them. We need term limits for all political offices, including judges. There should be no lifetime appointments to the Supreme court or any other Court. The Supreme Court is the judicial branch of the US government. It is the third leg of the checks and balances. Therefore who sits on it should be decided by the people, and not the president, congress or any political party. Until we can clean house in Washington DC and install term limits for all in congress, and make Supreme Court Justices an elected position, nothing will change for the better.
