Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a Bourg man in connection with a residential burglary in Presque Isle, Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said. Detectives began conducting an investigation into several residential burglaries in the Bourg area in November. Video surveillance obtained from one of the scenes was disseminated to the community and tips led to the identification of two suspects. One of the suspects, Michael Dover, 22 of 106 Desiles Street was located Friday afternoon. He was subsequently arrested for one count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. He remains at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. His bond has been set at $35,000. The second suspect has yet to be located. He has been identified as James Davis Jr., 31 of 112 Faith Trailer Court. A warrant has been issued for Davis’ arrest for one count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. His bond has been set at $50,000. If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Davis, please contact TPSO or Crimestoppers. These cases are still under investigation.
