Terrorists on full-scale offensive in eastern Ukraine. 27 civilians killed, 100+ wounded. #Mariupol #Ukraine #RussiaInvadedUkraine On January 24, Russian-backed terrorists shelled two Ukrainian checkpoints and residential areas in Mariupol in eastern Ukraine with multiple-launch GRAD rocket systems. The rockets hit a kindergarten, a school and a shopping market. As a result of this atrocious attack, at least 27 civilians have been killed and nearly 100 wounded. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in its statement calls on the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to immediately begin a thorough investigation of this crime against humanity and urges the international community to condemn this and other crimes committed by terrorists. On January 23, one of the terrorist leaders Alexander Zakharchenko stated that his troops would not conduct any peace talks with the Ukrainian authorities and would immediately launch an offensive. Another terrorist leader Pavel Gubarev wrote in his social media account: Good news (for those who have not noticed). The offensive is on almost all fronts. We are attacking Avdiyivka, Marіupol. Russia has not stopped its proxies from killing more and more innocent people and has even enabled such atrocities by sending increased flows of military hardware and personnel to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
