Tesleem Idowu Alawode wrote; I Pledge to Nigeria my country, to be faithfull loyal and honest, kosi bikibi ti mo wa,ti emi oni fi owo soya, pe omo 9ja ma ni mi. To uphold her honour and glory. I have a responsibility, as a Nigerian to speak against all forces against the progress and development of Nigeria, I will follow my speech with actions all in the spirit of being a patriotic citizen. In my words, I will condemn the party(PDP) that had the oppurtunity to make a Nigeria great once again but used the same oppurtunity to bring more damage to the Country. National development was replaced by by financial gains of PDP members. With my actions I will a part of the team seeking for downfall of the major problem(PDP) facing the nation. I will canvass against the party that presented and imposed a president who believes stealing is not corruption and thus his cabinet members who stole the funds meant for the development of the nations are being shielded by the same system expected to bring them to book. Also in the spirit of being patriotic, I wil not only vote against but also canvass against the president who is allowing the killing of my brethens in the north, a president who needs the intervention of a Pakistan teenager before he could meet the parents of our missing FUTURE MOTHERS (chibok girls) May God Protect them and hasten their return. I will use all legitimate power I posses to seek the end of the party that imposed a president who is waiting for America to confirm the missing $20bn and even suspended the whistle blower (smile, God is great, Olotito ki ku si ipo ika). Finally, for the development of the Country I will be in absolute support of the party(APC) that is ready to bring the desired change, a party that will not only count increase in GDP as an achievement but seek the economic development of the nation.
