Testimonial Thursday, ( Bare With Me, This Is Long) So last night I was up reflecting on my life and I just so happen to come across a video where Fantasia was being ministered to by Avery Sunshine where she sang to Fantasia Safe In His Arms (check it out, its below) Listening to that song brought back a flood of memories for me and reflections of my life over the last 3-4 years. While doing so, I remembered that I had not shared my testimony with the masses on GODs grace over my life. I have always been so good at masking my struggles and my pain, almost to a fault. My life as it appeared on paper was always a Bed of Roses, but in reality about 3 maybe 4 years ago, I had the biggest health scare of my life an (Open Heart) surgery. Shortly thereafter, I became (functionally) homeless in the sense that I left a space that I called my own and begin to have to live with friends and family and even on the GSU campus for a while. I had to sell all of my furniture and personal possessions to stay afloat. Shortly after dealing with that issue for a number of years, and just when things were rebounding for me, my father took ill and I had to adjust my life again to be there for him. My father was buried on October 6th, I put everything on hold in my life to help facilitate on his behalf. The testimony in doing so, is this, as I prepared to come back to Atlanta, my sister Sherri prayed a most sincere prayer to recant, recover and restore the time I had spent and it worked. God has blessed me since then, beyond anything I couldve hoped for, Total Restoration of my former self, everything I sold had been re purchased and is even better than before. Im stabilized, back in my own space and operating a more than viable business. My faith has been restored and made stronger as result of the challenges I have faced and Im stronger mentally because of them. I look back and realize how each Set-Back has been a Set-Up for a greater purpose in my life. I would be a fool, if I didnt give God the Glory!! He has worked a MIRACLE in my life and I couldnt be more happier about it.
