***Testimony*** About a month or so ago, I received a traffic citation and had to go to court. My court date, I thought was the 8th (today) but it was actually the 5th (Tuesday). While on my way to work (2nd Shift), I glanced at the ticket which was over my visor. As soon as I realized it was that afternoon, I called my job, told them what happened, and headed to the courthouse. (Long story but I pray It helps somebody) Well, I get to the courthouse, to be told, Court is over for the day and the judge ordered an arrest for failure to appear. Do you want to turn yourself in now or wait til the warrant is issued? I waited and contacted someone who could help me with this.... Not only did I miss one day of work but two (did I tell yall Id just started on Monday?) Sounds pretty bad huh? Job (temp service) told me to just have my lil one day time card signed and if they need me in the future, they may give me a call. Yall, I go get my time card signed, and the hr lady says, I hate you had to go thru that....see you Monday!! Said all that to say this: Just when you think its ended, God will step in and cause it to Begin Again!!! Oh yeah, for all the nosey folk that read the paper for gossip sake....please keep in mind, yes it was a FTA but for a traffic citation. #ThereAreBenefitsToNotGivingUp
