Testimony Time: I live what I preach!! Im always talking about facing your past and putting it behind you!! Are you ready for a kick start into your future? Well, here it goes! Thanks to facebook, I was reunited with my ride or die from my past brokenness. I was reunited with my long lost friend. The one that had my back through thick and thin. She took me and my kids in. The one that fought with cops on my behalf ( because, you have to be dead, before they protect you.. Back then that is;) She was lost, I was lost, but we found each other. We protected each other. However tonight, Im thankful. A whole decade ago, we found each other. Im thankful for you, Susan Ritter! We were trying to put our stories together tonight, as we talked on the phone from the past.. and it wasnt working! (Pain has a way of hiding it self and Im grateful;) She remembered one thing and I remembered another. What I got from our conversation was, though I am so grateful that she was an angel in that dark season of my severe brokenness, I dont live there anymore. Thankfully God aint like us, he aint like people. He forgets and moves on, but sometimes people dont! Even though, I wouldnt trade a second of my past.. Im beyond grateful for my future! Tonight, are you sorry for your past? Do you wish you could rewind? STOP THAT!! Its your story! We both decided tonight that we will not only survive, but thrive! The fact God let you see this status means youre worthy! Tomorrow is a new day! New mercies! Make a choice to be NEW and different! Go on and live so no one believes those lies about you! I believe inYOU!! I love you and the sky is the limit!
