“TeukSaat 1001” NGO JOB OPPORTUNITY: An ACCOUNTANT - Based in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia, - Start in September, 2013.Three months trial period for long term contract - Salary and Benefit package: Competitive according to relevant experience and qualifications. “TeukSaat 1001” NGO Background “Teuk Saat 1001” is a Cambodian non-governmental organization created as an offshoot of safe drinking water supply project in rural area in partnership with the French NGO “1001 fontaines pour demain”. The first stage of the initiative started in 2005, in North West Cambodia, and has achieved to date the implementation of 50 operating sites in Battambang, Banteay Meanchey and Siem Reap provinces. These sites provide more than 50,000 people daily with safe drinking water. “Teuk Saat 1001” is committed to act as a service platform for all production sites of safe water and as a project to set-up new safe water production sites Mission The mission of “1001 fontaines” is to implement sustainable improvement in the health of people living in isolated communities. The proposed objective of our non-profit association is to empower rural communities by enabling them to produce and guarantee quality of drinking water at an affordable price, based on a social enterprise business model, which ensures that they are self-sufficient and reach the largest number of beneficiaries. Job opportunity Duties of candidate Under the responsibility of “Teuk Saat 1001” Financial Manager and in coordination with other members of the project team, he/she will be assigned the following responsibilities: • Filing, copying, typing of accounting documents • Administration of accounting documents and ensuring that all supporting documents are complete and accurate before processing • Reimbursement of invoices, provision and clearance of advance payments • Payment of expenses and revenue collection • Journal management for TEUK SAAT and Different project of 1001Fontaines • Check that daily expenditures are reasonably fair and based on the market prices, Cash record • Control of invoices and coding of entries • Estimated budget and annual • Monitoring of monthly expenditures on each budget line • Preparation of financial reports send to Financial Manager and Platform Manager Requirements of applicant • Cambodian nationality • Bachelor degree in accounting or Financing • 2 year experience in accounting or bookkeeping with NGOs • Be strong work ethic and teamwork • Be good at figures and attention to details • Be honest ,reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated and consistent • Be good at written and spoken English • Knowledge of Accounting Applications ( Excel ,Quick Book) Contact details Interested candidates should send CV and a cover letter without copy of certificates by e-mail : teuk.saat@1001fontaines or teuksaat1001@gmail Closing date: 23rd of August 2013.
