Hill has not appeared in the Majors yet this season. Tampa Bay Rays placed shortstop Yunel Escobar on the 15-day disabled list due to a right shoulder injury. Escobar is hitting .244 (64-262) with 4 home runs & 22 RBI in 77 games. Boston Red Sox released LHP Chris Capuano. Capuano was designated for assignment on June 25. Capuano is 1-1 with a 4.55 ERA in 28 relief appearances this season.
