Thailand is helping Myanmar prepare for the 2013 Southeast Asian Games by providing financial support amounting to 60.5 million Baht (P90 million) and giving its top athletes one month training in Bangkok. According to the Bangkok Post newspaper, the Sport Authority of Thailand will shell out 28.5 million Baht worth of equipment to seven sports and another 17.7 million Baht for the preparation of Myanmar’s athletes from 14 sports.
