Thailand is officially the deadliest destination for Aussie tourists, this article will open your eyes as to why.. I am not here to disrespect or hate on any culture, but what my family, and many others, have endured in this country is beyond your worst nightmare. Losing a loved one is crippling, but to lose a loved one in a foreign country with the complexity of different culture, rules and punishments adds a whole other dimension of trauma and stress. Travel your little hearts out, but please be mindful as a tourist of the fact that some cultures do not have safety as a priority and may not always have your best interests at heart so dont be naive or trusting too soon. Holidays do tend to have a care free spirit and we like to think nothing could go wrong in such a beautiful country. But the reality is, it does. Far too often. So whilst your holidaying relax your mind and body all you like, but never relax your safety standards. One moment of recklessness can cause a lifetime of heartache. Please, dont make your family live with that. 💔
