Thames Valley Police is warning people to avoid the Bicester area today due to heavy traffic into Bicester Village. The latest road information is: - M40: Very slow moving traffic between junction 10 and 9 southbound. Junction 9 northbound is moving - A34: Northbound from Peartree Roundabout is stationary - A41 to Bicester is gridlocked Supt James Templer said: “We know it is very busy and we are working with our partners in Oxfordshire, and Bicester Village itself, to try and alleviate the pressure. “I would recommend that people avoid the area if they can.” We are also asking the public stuck in traffic not to contact police on 101 for general updates. Please only call us if you require police assistance.
