Thank You Aaleen and Sidra for the 10 books challenge that have affected my life. Below I list the ten books in no particular order. 1. Ali pur ka Ailee and Alkh nagri by Mumtaz Mufti ( The philosphy of women and Qudrat Ullah Shahab with views from the time of partition is just beyond words. I have its passages stuck in my head forever.) 2.Al Raheeq ul Makhtoom by Safi ur rehman Mubarakpuri ( The best concise and with explanations of Ghazwats Prophet Muhammad SAWW life. According to me should be taught in schools and recommended to read atleast once a year.) 3.Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler ( I am just astonished to read Hitlers philosphy the kind of government system he has discussed specially for youth and making of a country is priceless and are gems. Must be read and implemented at every level except his philosphy about the racism.) 4. Pakistan a hard country by Anatol Lieven ( The extensive and neutral review of Pakistans problems and somewhat its solution. Must be read by anyone having interest in IR, foreign policy or is into policy making. Huzaifa you still havent returned this book.) 5. Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Coan Doyle ( It was fourth standard we read an abridged version of Sherlock Holmes in class and to this day I am into reading. It was the book that sparked the fire in me. And for analytical reasoning and everything I am thankful to Mr. Holmes.) 6. Harry Potter by JK Rowlings ( The book that taught almost everything to our generation. Almost read about six times and wont mind reading it a couple of times more. Thank You dad for buying me super expensive Harry Potter books the day they realeased and giving me persmission to read whole night. You are the true inspiration.) 7.Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman ( Thank You for providing the data and scientific backing to theory that I had years ago. It is not only the IQ that matters in ones life but managing emotions is one big part of life.) 8. Tareekh e Farishta by Abul Qasim Farishta ( Do you wana know who owned this land and what did happen. The tales of palace since old times to british India. If you dont wana repeat the same mistakes please read this and know what caused the downfall of muslim empire in Indian Sub continent.) 9. The great expectation by Charles Dickens ( We dont know everything and sometimes things seen by our eyes are even not true. Thank You Qazi for recommending this book.) 10.The world is flat by Thomas L. Freidman ( The truest book I read about business. How and what is globalization. What businesses are thinking and how should we think. Awesome awesome book. Thank You Suhail Mamu for recommending this book. ) Special mentions All books by Paulo Cohleo, Enid blyton, Cane and abe by Jeffrey Archer, Outliers, hunger games, focus by Daniel Goleman, give and take by Adam Grant, the power of habit by Charles Dukigg and salt, sugar fat by Michael Ross.
