Reason for my Request to Join is: I seem to belong to the Fraser Clan of Scotland thru my Mothers maiden name of: McKimmy. I understand their was a James McKinny who married a Jean Fraser in Rathen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Jean Fraser seems to have been the daughter of Simon Fraser (abt 1688-1774) & Marjorie Forbes (abt 1687 - 1723) - Im interested in James & Jean (Fraser) McKinny,,, I believe! its supposed to be spelled McKimmy. Son James who he might have married and if any might have migrated to the U.S. and connect with my Gt. Gt. Grandfather James McKimmy of Preston County, West Virginia. Im hoping come May 24th & 25th. Go see the Alma Highland Festival & Games 2014. Love the Castle pictures on this site.
