Thank You members of BAA...I kind of giggled a bit when I read...against autism. Now hear me out...I am a mother to three kids...my two sons are ASD. My daughter is horribly normal...poor thing. After 23 years of living in what we call wonderland..here is what I know. Autism is not a way to define my sons...it adds to their personalities and enriches the gifts they have. It challenges them in many ways and in the end..makes them stronger. I see my boys as boys first..with autism. The world is not at my level of understanding. So when I see groups advocating around the world, I smile a little bit more. My hope is that everyone can one day see my wonderland and how truly blessed and amazing it is. I am not against Autism....I am only against those who fail to see the person behind it. So...from the bottom of my heart...believe in impossible things...and thank you.
