Thank a trillion to the person who created the following post and also please share this with your friends!!! Recently a 19 year old boy was killed by a tiger in Delhi Zoo, in front of many people. God has given us sixth sense as well. We should feel ashamed of this incident, because our education system didn’t teach us how to escape from such a wild animal, if we get trapped like this. Our system is just making us mug up things and then vomit it in exams. We have been taught only to get first rank, get good job and to earn more and more money. It doesn’t teach us how to respect others, help others, respect family and many other basic things for life. I was very much upset and searching for any solution that was available - how he could have been saved. It is said that he was a mentally retarded person and as he had a fight with his mother for not going to any job. He jumped from the fence outside and fell into the moat 10-12 feet below. There were many people, even the zoo guards were around. The sad part is no one knew how to save him from that tiger. I read an article on FB where a teacher clearly explained how he could have been saved at that time. In the first 10 mins the tiger didn’t even attack him. That shows it was not hungry. The spectators were throwing stones and few other things over it and this irritated the animal. The worst part is a guy was shooting it in his mobile without trying anything. Please find below some details that the teacher wrote in tamil: 1. He was sitting in front of tiger. Instead, he could have stood up so that tiger thinks he is taller than him and dangerous to attack him. This is a proven fact. But, not completely fool proof if the animal is terribly hungry. 2. He could have hit the tiger in eyes with his elbow strongly, which could have made the tiger to out of control and he could have used that time to come out of that area. 3. He could have taken some mud and thrown it in the tiger’s eyes. 4. Anyone from the crowd could have taken off his shirt and put fire on it and thrown it in front of that guy. Every animal is afraid of fire and this tiger would have run away. Please share this with as many as you can. Teach these things to your kids and tell these stuff to your friends. People, the tiger videos have been doing rounds since that tragedy. But, this is for the first time some solution to avert such a tragedy has come about. This is very very important that we understand how to overcome such tragedies. One feels safe when equipped with the right kind of information associated with dangerous situations. Disaster management has its importance.
