Thank you, #Afropunk2014. This has to be the best concert of the summer, hands down. There was positive energy from everyone there. Afropunk successfully created a community that support artists and local businesses (from freelance photographers, to the graffiti artists), as well as the musicians. But most importantly, it was the community that came together to make it what it was. And this is what I want to do for the rest of my life, create a community of support. SZA, your recordings do not do you justice because you are a million times better live. Your voice is like butter and I was melting. Your presence is incredible. It was so apparent to me that you care about your fans and your family. The greatest part was being able to stand in the crowd with your mom!
