Thank you Amber for the great review! My boyfriend and I visited B Bryan Preserve this past weekend. A couple friends of ours went a few months ago and after hearing about their fabulous time I was convinced that I needed to visit. I was not let down! The adventure began when I called Judy on the phone to let her know we would be arriving after 7pm so that she could leave the information for our cottage out for us. When we were getting off the phone she advised Just dont run over any zebra... my heart jumped a beat and I said Uhhh... OK, we wont run over any zebra!! (thinking to myself she must be kidding!). Sure enough as soon as we pull up to the gated area to get to our cottage, a small herd of zebra went trampling off into the distance. I knew instantly we were in for a treat. We stayed in the Chapel Cottage. This cottage alone is truly a treasure to behold. Judys husband built this cottage himself, hand picking every single detail and piece of material that went into it. It is adorned with old but pristine technology (chain pull toilet, push light switches, etc), beautiful stained glass windows and amazing woodwork. I just sat in awe of the gorgeous detail of this cottage. I cant even imagine the blood, sweat and tears that went into building it. The cottage has a beautiful and serene porch that overlooks a pond, where there is a bbq and private hot tub. Saturday afternoon we did the afternoon tour. I hadnt yet met Judy, but she had me at hello with her warm southern voice. She provided so much information about the animals, their history, and future that they are working so hard to preserve. We saw several different kinds of zebra, antelope, and of course giraffe! They have 5 adorable giraffe that just steal your heart. You have the opportunity to feed, pet and even get kissed by the giraffe (which my boyfriend found out the hard way). I am so thankful to have learned about B Bryan Preserve, and just tickled to have had the opportunity to stay two nights. I am already thinking about the next trip, because we will definitely be returning for another great adventure. Thank you Frank and Judy for such a great adventure and for the invaluable service you are providing to these animals and earth!!
