Thank you Betty Esperanza for putting the Fun in Fund Raiser as her Liver Foundation took over the Comedy Nest tonight. Hats off to David Acer for playing it forward. Great job by the Scottish Prince of Montreal Mr Darren Henwood... finally got a chance to see fellow Joey Elias Class alumni Chantal Desjardins step up and shes as funny as she is attractive and shes very attractive, very nice job Chantal. Sorry I didnt get a chance to say Hi to Peter J. Radomski who had another strong set, but arent all his sets just fun to watch? Finally it was a pleasure to finally meet Derek Seguin. As a long time comedy fan who has seen just about every local guy and gal. Derek has been 1 of those guys I havent seen enough of. When I saw his recent spot on the HBO filmed Gala with Whitney Cummings earn the comedian a well deserved standing O from a sold out Place Des Arts audience I admit I felt very proud for the talented local joker. Having met him for 5 mins I got to believe the standing O might have also been because he seems to be just a really decent nice guy. I strongly suggest you catch Derek Seguin as he headlines The Nest this weekend...If he can get a PDA audience to stand up seeing him in a small Montreal Comedy club will have you out of your seats as well but in this fine room youll be rolling on the floor in laughter.
