Thank you, Brenda Lee Nelson, for nominating me to say 3 things Im thankful for for 5 days. This is my last day. 1. I am so grateful for the many friends I have here and around the world, especially my dear, dear friend, Brenda Wynia Hougham, who has been closer than a sister to me over the past few years. I love you so much, Brenda! 2. Im so grateful for my silly pets who bring me hours of entertainment and remind me never to pick up a load of warm laundry without checking for hitchhikers first. 3. Im so grateful for the Arboretum located just across the street. 1,137 acres of peaceful beauty with many paths to explore and a constantly changing landscape. Such a hidden jewel in this town.
