Thank you Emilios words of great truth......................................................................The pretext for this latest assault on Gaza, which has so far resulted in the murder of over 200 people, many of whom women and children, was the killing of 3 Israeli teenagers. Even though Israel has not as yet produced any shred of evidence that this murder was committed by a Palestinian, they proceeded to collectively punish the 1.8 million people trapped in the Gaza enclave. This collective punishment is reminiscent of Nazi practices of WWII where whole communities were put to death for the actions of the resistance. In any civilized society, where laws are upheld, a crime is investigated and the guilty parties tried in a court of law and punished accordingly; but it would seem that Israel only claims to be “civilized”. Furthermore, serious doubts are raised whether these three Israelis were indeed killed by Palestinians in the first place.
