Thank you Ginger Duke! This is Gingers post, I am only sharing it. We love you and thank you for all you do for Britney. God Bless! We have come to a decision on a name. We struggled with naming this mare. We have had a lot of set backs in training and had to overcome some struggles. One day I was sitting and reading about the struggles of my young friend Brittney who is very ill and in and out of the hospital. Britney fights a hard battle but never ceases to amaze those around her. Brittney is made up of a lot of things. Courage, strength, an overwhelming will to fight, love and a determination that I wish I had just an ounce of. Thinking of all the amazing, wonderful things Britney is and how she inspires me and many others everyday led to a name. Britneys Inspiration. Barn name Inspire. I talked to Britneys mom Holly Suzanne Gavitt (who is an incredibly amazing woman and mother as well) and asked her if this would be an option and was ecstatic when she said yes.
