Thank you Jacqui Garrett for only giving me 5.... 1. I used to be painfully shy. I wore glasses, was mal-nourished (long story not for fb), had a gap between my 2 front teeth you could drive a truck through and always had my nose in a book! It was a flight to Madrid for study abroad that changed my life. I decided at 16 that I was going to be a flight attendant. And except for a brief stent as a fashion model in NY I have lived that dream...almost 29 years 2. I learned to sew from my grandma Denson when I was 3. She was a milliner/seamstress and always had a breakfront full of ladies-go-to church hats for sell in the living room. I would sew doll clothes from scraps she gave me. I got my first real sewing machine at 5 and was a fashion design major. I can (and have) sew anything from swimwear, mens suits, winter coats,etc. I used to make an outfit in one day to wear out that same day. I designed and made my wedding dress....lol 3. Im a trivia junky. I remember things forever! I was a week long contestant on Hollywood Squares (2001) I won over $88k in cash and prizes~sick 4. My grandmother Goudelock taught me to cook when I was 8. Well I followed her around the kitchen until she folded! The 1st meal that I cooked was dinner for 7 meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and sautéed green beans with biscuits. I have been addicted to cooking ever since and can make just about anything. I can taste something and figure out how to re-creat it. (Amber has a great palette and is a good cook too....its in the genes!) 5. I owned an art gallery in Pittsburgh. It was a beautiful space and I loved it! Then the crash of 2008 and fate had other plans for me. I am not bitter because now I live in Paris. This is the happiest I have ever been! ~ My take away is live each day with zest. There will be sad days or bad days, but when we are old we will remember it as a wondrous life so roll with it and celebrate the joy ;-) So I think I have to pass it on to 5....Ok ladies....I am giving you 7- coz I like that number...
