Thank you Larry for giving us this education: Long before the CIA, the FBI, the DOD, and the State Dept. began training A Qaeda jhadists to be counter-revolutionary terrorists in the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan (these guys eventually morphed into ISIL/ISIS and other militant Islamist jhadists in Chechnya, Yemen, Somalia, etc.) these government agencies were covertly training counter-revolutionary terrorist to fight revolutionary ocialism and communism in Chile, Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia, etc. This was one of the most blatant examples of CIA trained terrorists striking back in the heart of Embassy Row in DCs Mass Ave. The bomb victims, Orlando Letelier and Ronni Moffitt, were self-avowed, radical supporters of Chilean Revolutionary Socialists who were trying to raise consciousness with Washington think tanks and the US Congress about the brutal tactics of the fascist Chilean dictator Pinochet suppressing revolutionary marxists in Chile.
