Thank you Michael Savage for addressing the question I have been asking and theorizing about for weeks... Why is President Obama sending one of Americas most storied and elite military units, The Screaming Eagles, to manage a medical / humanitarian effort in West Africa? The answer? Ill repost my theory from early October. Stay tuned.. Posted 09/30/2014 The African Screaming Eagle Virus This is a re-post from September 30, 2014 after The Washington Times announced that the 101st Airborne was being deployed to fight Ebola in West Africa. At the time of my original article I had a strong sense Paul Harvey hadn’t finished The Rest of the Story about the 101st Airborne’s real mission, and my suspicion is only getting stronger… You might be wondering why I would think there’s something else going on with this entire situation, and I don’t mean for this to be a criticism of the president – just an observation. If you do then trust me - Im not going to lose any sleep. I have watched every daily White House press briefing, and have studied the president in depth. He has a pattern of saying things to misdirect those he considers to be enemies. When President Obama makes broad or general claims about what something is or will be the opposite is often true, but these statements are made with such conviction that he’s rarely challenged by the media or his supporters. When President Obama minimizes a situation it really means hes very concerned and it could potentially explode at any moment. For example, this is how he first reacted regarding Edward Snowden, Im not going to be scrambling jets to get a 29-year-old hacker, he told reporters during a news conference in Senegal. Initially, I thought it may have been his way of telling the media, Nothing to see here, move along.... Each time the president makes one of these minimizing or mocking statements thats my queue to dig deep. When it’s proven to be something other than the truth its ignored like when Politifact reported President Obama had received their award for the biggest lie of the year there was not even a blip on the screen. You remember the statement, it was when he said, “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it”... In contrast it’s been over three decades since Bush 41 said, “Read my lips…”, but it still sticks and lost him the election. One statement that is still unforgiven, but President Obama has made over 855 false statements (up to June 6, 2013)!?!?! I could list each lie, but I have learned it’s a waste of time. Its a waste of time because all the king’s men that will surely attack me after this article aren’t interested in those facts. Oh, they say they are, but they really aren’t… When I ask his supporters, What fact could I present that would change your mind?, I receive one of the following responses: 1.) Complete silence 2.) The Walking Dead zombie stare with a mixture of blood and saliva dripping off the chin (blood + saliva = Blool). 3.) The Big Deflection... The “Where were you when Bush…” response. 4.) Insults, profanity, and assumptions made about my political stance. 5.) Finally, and my favorite one because when you hear these words you can kick back and smile - you have won the debate. Yep, I’m talking about when they blurt out Racist or Nazi. The bottom line is there’s no amount of facts or evidence that will dent their golden calf (King Barack Ebola). Let’s get back to Paul Harvey and the Rest of the Story… This is how I processed the announcement and came to the conclusion of something being hidden behind the curtain. I. History: The 101st Airborne’s storied history as one of America’s most legendary fighting units known as The Screaming Eagles. Upon the activation of the 101st Airborne Division on 16 August 1942 at Camp Clairborne, Louisiana, Major General William C. Lee observed that The 101st... has no history, but it has a rendezvous with destiny. The 101st Airborne Division traces its lineage to World War I with the formation of the 101st Division on 23 July 1918. In 1942, Major Lee, by now Brigadier General, endorsed the concept of airborne divisions after studying the British Army use of parachute troops during the early years of World War II. The commander of Army Ground Forces, Lieutenant General Lesley J. McNair, concurred with Lees recommendation and ordered the formation of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions. Brigadier general Lee assumed command of the 101st Airborne Division on 19 August 1942. I don’t think I need to remind folks over the age of 40 regarding their reputation in World War II. The 101st Airborne was awarded the Distinguished Unit Citation for heroic action during the famous Battle of The Bulge. In December 1944, during the siege of Bastogne, Belgium, Anthony McAuliffe was acting commander of the 101st in Gen. Maxwell D. Taylor’s absence. It was the dead of winter, heavily outnumbered, and completely surrounded the Germans offered McAuliffe and the 101st the opportunity to surrender. They presented two pages demanding the Americans’ surrender: To the USA Commander of the encircled town of Bastogne. . .There is only one possibility. . .the honorable surrender of the encircled town. McAuliffe glanced at the message and said, Aw, nuts! Everyone laughed as a sergeant typed up the succinct response: To the German Commander: Nuts! The American Commander. The rest is history - the tough as nails men of the 101st Airborne held their position against insurmountable odds. (Some may remember McAuliffe was played by Charles Bronson in the movie Battle of The Bulge.) Their victory resulted in the first full-Division Presidential Distinguished Unit Citation in the history of the United States Army. In Vietnam the eagle rose again and came screaming down through operations like Eagle Thrust, Nevada Eagle, and Apache Snow. When you need an elite force with numbers then the 101st and the 82nd are the units to send in against any odds to kill and destroy the enemy. Soooo... I think its safe to say they wouldnt be my first choice to manage a health and humanitarian effort. II. Why: Why choose the 101st Airborne, an elite fighting force, to fight an invisible virus? Why deploy Doctors, Attorneys, and Department of Human and Health Services only to manage a border where there’s Mexican Drug Cartels, Drug and Human Trafficking? In my opinion, there needs to be a show of force / security on the border in addition to health services. Shouldn’t we be sending experienced professionals to manage a virus? If you’re going to send in troops then doesn’t it make sense to send The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM)? MEDCOM is a direct reporting unit of the U.S. Army that provides command and control of the Armys fixed-facility medical, dental, and veterinary treatment facilities, providing preventive care, medical research and development and training institutions. MEDCOM is commanded by the Army Surgeon General, currently Lt. Gen. Patricia Horoho. The Surgeon General is also head of the U.S. Army Medical Department (the AMEDD). Yeah, something tells me there’s something else in mind for the 101st other than Operation Ebola. III. More Why: The entire nation of Africa can’t afford to send a few thousand to save their people? Why did we bring patients here to America versus caring for them in Africa? Isn’t the first rule of infectious diseases and epidemiology to contain or quarantine? That’s common sense, but President Obama thought it best to fly them to Maryland, Georgia, and Nebraska? IV. Africa Summit: On August 6, 2014 more than 40 African heads of state gathered in Washington for an unprecedented summit that involved three days of meetings and events. What was discussed? I’m sure a number of things were discussed such as economic issues and terrorist presence on the continent... Could it be that Ebola is cover for the United States to run clandestine operations against terror? Also, Africa’s rich mining (Gold) and oil reserves offer opportunity and concern. The US is concerned about terror using bootleg refineries in Nigeria to fund their organizations. (HBO’s Vice ran an outstanding piece on the black market of oil in nations like Nigeria.) China has literally been taking over these mineral rich areas sometimes by force and we need a foothold. What is a village leader supposed to tell a group of well-armed Chinese that waltz in claiming it for themselves? V. Circumvent Congress: The War Powers Resolution of 1973 (50 U.S.C. 1541–1548)[1] is a federal law intended to check the presidents power to commit the United States to an armed conflict without the consent of Congress. The resolution was adopted in the form of a United States Congress joint resolution; this provides that the President can send U.S. armed forces into action abroad only by declaration of war by Congress, statutory authorization, or in case of a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces. The War Powers Resolution requires the President to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30 day withdrawal period, without an authorization of the use of military force or a declaration of war. If you’re like me then who cares what you call a military action… Just go out there and kick some ass!!! War is war, get over it and move on, right? Wrong! Here’s why… President Obama refuses to work with a Congress that’s controlled by Republicans. My sources tell me that he considers those with opposing opinions to be enemies, so President Obama uses any means possible to circumvent Congressional authority. You know, kind of like a king. Therefore, he and Holder huddled with their law books (both lawyers) to find ways to describe military force without using certain terminology like “war”. Therefore the king doesn’t need permission to send his men into action. I believe President Obama is using the Ebola virus as cover to deploy troops without Congressional approval to attack terror organizations and keep Chinese interests. His stance will be something like this; I sent the 101st on a humanitarian mission to manage the Ebola virus WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY WERE ATTACKED BY TERRORISTS!!! We have no choice but to fight back and pursue them to the “gates of hell” as Biden says… I do need to note that Im sure were assisting with the Ebola virus its just not the primary mission. I think the Africa Summit is when the Obama cut the deal to allow our troops to travel freely over borders. Again, even if you think killing terrorists is a good thing you still need to be concerned that the president is conducting himself like a king and using slick words to circumvent Congressional authority and no transparency or accountability to the American people. So, ladies and gents that’s my take on the African Screaming Eagle Virus. Posted 10/16/2014 A few weeks back I offered an in-depth theory about sending elite fighting units (101st Airborne Division) to fight Ebola in W. Africa... The focal point centered on why we are sending the 101st Airborne Division to manage a medial / humanitarian situation? Why isnt the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), a direct reporting unit of the U.S. Army, that provides command and control of the Armys... Heres another piece of circumstantial evidence. The returning US Military troops will be quarantined for 90 days. Ok, I would quarantine them as well, BUT.... Why arent people traveling from W. African nations into the USA being quarantined, such as the NY doctor that was just diagnosed with Ebola? Why are they quarantining civilians with confirmed contact for 21 days and the military for three months? Heres my thought... The military is not actually being quarantined. I believe they are going to experience a lengthy debrief with non-disclosures (similar to what happened to the sailors on the USS Liberty) to conceal the real mission.
