Thank you Padma! Need a few more volunteers! A few months ago we started a small centre in ObeysekekaraPura in Rajagiriya [a low income area] to teach kids English and basic computer skills. The progress was slow at the beginning but now we cant handle the interest. My sincere thanks from really the bottom of my heart to Mrs Padma Vidanagamachchi who has been working hard with Deepathi to get it going. She volunteers her time during the weekends to help these eager kids to get ahead in life and hopefully out of their neighborhood. We are fortunate to have people like Padma doing such silent service to society. If there are others who are willing to volunteer their time, perhaps a couple of hours a week, do let me know I will ask Padma to get in touch. We have a new apartment in the neighborhood and is furnished for the purpose with 9 computers. Let me take this opportunity to thank all those who helped us get this moving and also invite anyone else who might want to help us expand the operation.
