Thank you, Sara Hanes Cahill - The post you just shared on my page is perfect in every way... December was a bit overwhelming for me this year, in many ways... It has now been nearly a month since I had to say good-bye to my beautiful, and much adored, best friend Guinnie Bear - and Im still heartbroken. Ive always been a dog lover, and have known the love of a family dog my entire life, but it wasnt until I had my own dog that I realized and experienced the true depth of their gifts in life to us... This furry diva was the perfect fit for me in absolutely every way - from timing, to experience, to personality. You know what they say about dogs and their owners being one in the same...... We were, and we just got each other. Two years ago I had to make a career change, and my mom, and family all stepped in to provide incredible care for my sweet girl. I am so grateful and cant even begin to thank them enough for their care of her, their love and their support. I know they are missing her too..... Guinnie, Im grateful for that smile on your face and the one that you put on my heart everyday, and for the adventures and lessons we shared together and with others. Now my greatest wishes for you, are that you finally catch that squirrel... spend your hours smelling flowers....and that you are living in a refrigerator filled with your hearts every delight!
