Thank you...Thank you...Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was not sure if I was going to post what I am going through but I decided to do it for two reasons...one to advise all of you guys about the screening tests and the second was I was in a very dark place and knew you my friends would help me and that is exactly what you did. I love your comments. They made me laugh, cry, reflect on how strong a woman I am and that strength came back to me and put me in a positive position and gave me faith. For that there are no words that can express my gratitude. Every time if I find myself having doubt I will read the comments. I have always been a person who believed he glass was half full so I just needed a little nudge to get me there. Saturday was a very bad day but I woke up on Sunday with a smile on my face and a completely different attitude. I am no longer worrying at all. I have put my surgery in the hands of God and I know he will not fail me. BTW we sign the papers today at 4:00 for the new house. How can I not be in a good mood? Also only two more sleeps until surgery. Some of you asked me some questions and the majority of them were about the screening tests. 1. I recd a pamphlet from my doctors office sponsored by Life Line Screening stating they were doing these screenings in their office and I decided to make me an appointment as heart disease runs in my fathers side of the family. The name of the test is Health Risk Assessment - 6 for Life. There are three different tests and I signed up for all three at a cost o $115 and not covered by insurance. I had no physical signs and in fact my blood pressure was 124/72. This is where, as one of my friends stated in her comments (Divine Intervention). I really believe I was very lucky to have done these tests as I honestly feel they have saved my life. 2. The date of my surgery is 9/24 Wednesday and I am to be at the hospital at 5:00 am. My surgery is the first one of the day. 3. I will be at St. Davids Round Rock Medical Center just over night. Then home to start my recovery. I am suppose to take it easy for 4 weeks. Well I still believe I can go shopping. lol
